how do you respond? yeah. i don t think the bible taking apparatus is quite built out of the white house yet. it s unfashionable to say you are anti-vaccine. if you are representing a lot of constituents that are anti-vaccine and you want to play to your base, the right strategy is to make these subtle jabs and to suggest that because the government is involved in it somehow, it is therefore fascism. i think that is the kind of marjorie taylor greene, you heard it here, you know you hear it constantly. what that does is it takes people in the path of the storm the delta storm and it makes them think that, i don t need to get vaccinated. i m brave. i m tough. the government is more of a threat to me. that s unfortunate. it crosses a number of lines we shouldn t cross. you recently went to twitter. i want to read a portion of it. it s lengthy, but i think it s very strong what you said. i want people to hear it.
involved in it, it is somehow fascism. it makes them think that, you know, i don t need to get vaccinated. i m brave, i m tough. you know, the government is more of a threat to me. that s really unfortunate. it crosses a number of lines we shouldn t cross. you recently went to twitter, and i want to read a portion of it. it s lengthy, but it s very strong what you said, and i want people to hear it. you said i deeply regret that we live in a world where very to respond to marjorie taylor greene. she s comparing it to her new favorite topic, yes, naziism. no one is in danger of asking greene to teach a history class anytime soon, but she did learn one lesson well from the nazis, dangerous propaganda, the latest
administration hasn t done enough to stop this. and i do sense that there is going to be a christmas surprise. surprise like? you know, we re estimating that they could do an intercontinental ballistic missile test or satellite test and send something up there. and that would be a dangerous encroachment on lines that we ve said they shouldn t cross. as you know, the president has frequently boasted of his good relationship with kim jong-un. it would seem as if the honeymoon is over. i would agree with that. and if kim jong-un chooses to test a missile or launch a satellite, i think we have to take aggressive measures. that could be a resumption of training with the south koreans, you know, those have been put on hold. you know, we just can t let them cross into that threshold. put on hold by and large, according to many, to appease
russia, turkey, hungary, brazil or, yes, the united states. you have people, military members around the world, putting their lives on the line to defend the thing the president is bashing on a daily basis. this is causing a political backlash and this comes at a time he has troops coming to the border. that raised the ire of many of his critics. there are certain lines you shouldn t cross as president. i think this is part of the story of the trump presidency. he is willing to break norms and willing to break convention. he thinks there is no cost to doing this. i think that is what he is hearing in response to going after the admiral. you mentioned the troops at the border. the senior administration official telling us that s a paper tiger. a joke of limited operation. a waste of our time.
the state fire officials. so this is just his personality at work. brian, this issue with the president s relationship with the press, as you know, trump supporters believe that certain reporters have been disrespectful toward the president. is there a line that reporters shouldn t cross? is there any justification for taking away press credentials? i think we could imagine some sort of hypothetical scenario where some reporter was abusive to the president, demanding an answer, a dozen times but i don t think we ve ever seen that from anybody at the white house. for example, we ve seen a couple of follow-up questions asked. always with sir, and thank you. these reporter goes out of their way to be respectful to the president. and the press conferences and in the q&as. however, the president is clearly on the defensive. clearly acting like he s backed into a corner, and so that is what i think we ve seen this week, jim acosta s credential being revoked at the white
