All Blacks playmaker Beauden Barrett kicked 21 points as his Suntory Sungoliath booked their spot in next weekend’s Japan Top League final. Better known for his running and tryscoring exploits in his debut season in Japan, Barrett booted a drop goal and six penalties to guide Suntory to a 26-9 semifinal win over Kubota Spears at the Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka on Sunday. They will meet the Robbie Deans-coached Panasonic Wild Knights in the final in Tokyo next Sunday.
