April 07 : Actor Sonu Sood, who became an overnight hero for his social work during coronavirus induced lockdown, today took the vaccine for COVID-19 prevention at a hospital in Amritsar, Punjab. The actor has also launched today a drive for free vaccine across India.
Named Sanjeevani: A Shot of Life, the drive aims to raise awareness among the people, and encourage them to get vaccinated. Speaking about the same, Sonu Sood said in a statement that he started the drive because it is very important to spread awareness among people who are still thinking whether they should be vaccinated or not. Sonu also urged that family members should push the elder members, who are eligible to get vaccinated, to get it immediately. This will help them to survive the times we all are facing currently, the actor said.
