Alyx right now at noon, prosecutors lay out their case against the man they say brutally killed a clive toddler back in 2014. Good afternoon, mollie is off this week. We begin with new developments in the murder trial of joe lopez. A clive detective says lopez told him he sensed his girlfriends 20monthold daughter, ruby, crying in the middle of the night, and put her in a high chair to feed her. Lopez says he heard a smack and found ruby face up on the ground. The prosecutor questioned why lopez didnt immediately call 911. Detective vernon lukehart he indicated that ruby was laying parallel with the bottom of the chair and that she was gasping for air and that her eyes were rolling back in her head.
