Almost two thirds of Britons intend to shop locally going forward, which is good news for Northumberland County Council’s latest retail campaign. In the ‘Shop Local, Shop Northumberland Campaign’, the county’s retailers have sent out a message to the county’s residents to support their local independent businesses. In a new promotional video bakers, butchers, baristas, and book shops are all showing off their products and encouraging people to shop locally and support independent businesses. According to a recent study from YouGov, almost two thirds of Brits claimed they will try to support local businesses and buy locally going forward.
