Bridgers will headline the first day of the festival, September 10th, which will also boast performances from Big Thief, Animal Collective, Yaeji, Black Midi, Kelly Lee Owens, Hop Along, and Dogleg. Early 2000s indie rock favorites the Fiery Furnaces are also booked to play their first show in a decade.
Day two, September 11th, will boast St. Vincent, Angel Olsen, Kim Gordon, Ty Segall and Freedom Band, Waxahatchee, Jay Electronica, Jamila Woods, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Bartees Strange, and Faye Webster. Pitchfork Fest will close on September 12th with Badu, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Danny Brown, Cat Power, Caroline Polachek, Yves Tumor, the Weather
The festival will also welcome Ty Segall & Freedom Band, Waxahatchee, Danny Brown, Cat Power, Andy Shauf, Caroline Polachek, Yaeji, Black Midi, Hop Along, Kelly Lee Owens and more for a combination of big name and discovery musicians.
To ensure the health and safety of guests, artists, and staff, the Pitchfork Music Festival will adhere to the city of Chicago’s COVID-19 protocol, and will keep attendees updated as federal, state, and local regulations evolve. As of the lineup announcement, masks will be required at the festival and attendees aged 12 and older will be required to provide proof of a COVID vaccination or a negative PCR test within the past 24 hours, each day of the festival.

Philly Music Fest was a scaled back, virtual event in 2020, but organizers have revealed that it will be held in person this year. The concerts will take place this fall over five nights, at five venues. In total, there will be six shows and nineteen bands participating.
The 2021 lineup includes Hop Along, Moor Mother, Son Little, Ivy Sole, Queen of Jeans, West Philadelphia Orchestra and Spirit of the Beehive.
