house candidate but a lot of folks said her nom makes in 2006 was inevitable and look what happened. next guest says clinton would lose to any republican running against her calling her a paper tiger. a paper tiger, really? well, i would say she s sort of a fragile porcelain. she was unbeatable. she was aformidable candidate in 08. she turned out to be not that good as a candidate. and i m not sure exactly what kind of record she ll bring in assuming she s running into 2016, which i do assume she is. she of course will be nominated because that s what democrats feel about her as a certain kind of almost religious feeling. she s kind of an icon. but if that translates into the general election, i am not sure at all, and anybody who thinks that she s a shoo-in i think has another thing coming. it s interesting because when you look at the exit polls from the day in which governor chris christie won re-election in new

last two presidential elections and here you have ken cuccinelli up against the clinton machine and terry mcauliffe. politico is pointing out that these questions in the race are the big ones. will black voters turn out. how big is the gender gap and do independents punish cuccinelli for the shutdown or mcauliffe for obama care. so based on those, how do you think it s going to go in virginia? is it too close to call to say this is going to be a shoo-in for terry mcauliffe? well, it s never a shoo-in for any particular candidate and certainly not in virginia. all the things you went down the checklist, these are intangibles at this point. we ll know at the end of the day. in other words, the turnout of african-americans, independents. also it s a low turnout off election. all of these things, i think, taken into consideration could actually work in cuccinelli s favor. we don t know at this point in time. however, one thing i think that has emerged from this and i think cuccinelli has
