3日午前10時ごろ、静岡県沼津市・清水町境の黄瀬川にかかる黄瀬川大橋で橋脚1基が川に沈み込み、橋の一部がV字形に崩落した。沼津署によると、車両が巻き込まれるなどの人的被害の報告は入っていないという。橋は上下線とも通行止めになり、復旧の見通しは立っていない。
近くに住む岩崎江利子さんは「事務所で作業をしていたら、午前10時少し前、地鳴りのようなドーンという大きな音がして、外を見ると橋がV字になっていた。崩落直後に車2台が通過後、バスが橋の上で引き返した」と崩落直後の模様を説明。また「最初はV字の角度が浅かったが、11時ごろにもう一度、大きな音がして、V字が深くなった」と証言した。「水害を心配していたが黄瀬川の水位が下がり安心していたところだった。まさか橋が落ちるとは」と驚�
