Dirty Picture actress Arya Banerjee was found dead at her apartment in Kolkata on December 11, 2020. Forensic experts found she was bleeding from her nose and had vomited. The daughter of late sitarist Nikhil Bandyopadhyay, Arya had acted in LSD: Love Sex Aur Dhoka (2010) and other films besides The Dirty Picture (2011). She had also done some modelling jobs in Mumbai.

Reports say Chithra had finished shooting at EVP Film City on Tuesday (December 8) night and had returned to her hotel room around 2:30 am. She was staying at the hotel with her fiance Hemanth.
