Rahul Gandhi, a Congress leader, concluded his visit to Goa by adopting a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a dog kennel. He had sent a representative to inquire about the availability of the breed, and he personally went to see the chosen puppy before taking it home. The kennel owner, Shivani Pitre, praised his warm nature and mentioned that he interacted with the dogs like a friend. Jack Russell Terriers are known for their intelligence and keen sense of smell.
