Manipur Issue: A 20-member delegation from opposition parties in Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) will on Saturday visit violence hit Manipur to do a spot assessment of the ground situation and then make recommendations to the government and Parliament for a solution to the problems in the violence-hit state. The delegation would be meeting Manipur governor Anusuiya Uikey on Sunday morning. A delegation of 20 MPs belonging to opposition alliance INDIA will head to Manipur on Saturday to assess the ground situation in the violence-hit state. The two-day visit comes a month after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited relief camps and interacted with those affected by the ethnic clashes in the northeastern state.
