　　这次考察具有标志性意义，泉州人将考察经过和考察团成员手写签名都刻在了九日山上，紧挨着千年前的那些祈风石刻，面积比最大的祈风石刻还要大数倍。古代冬夏两季，地方官主持盛大仪式，祈祷出海和回家的船只顺风顺水，并把祈风的祭文刻在山上。在这里，风比雨更重要。 　　这些外国人一路走一路感叹，领队迪安博士称，在泉州的考察将整个考察活动推向高潮。他将草庵遗址的摩尼光佛造像称为此次考察的最大收获。摩尼教已经在全球销声匿迹，泉州草庵竟罕见地保存着一尊摩尼教佛像，后来被用作世界摩尼教协会的会徽。 　　为了安排各项考察活动，泉州专门成立了一个副市长牵头的办公室，时任泉州市文物局局长陈炳琨是办公室副主任。他向《中国新闻周刊》回忆，当时花了很长时间安排路线、布置会场。考察团是大年初�
