The members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Nu Rho Omega Chapter of Hinesville, celebrated a virtual 40th anniversary of their chapter, Saturday, Dec. 12. During the program, the chapter also established a $20,000 scholarship endowment with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) under the auspices of its Cultivated Pearls Foundation of Southeast Georgia. Cultivated Pearls SEGA is the Non-Profit, fundraising entity for the Nu Rho Omega Chapter with the purpose of supporting programs, projects and activities that inform, educate and strengthen communities throughout the Coastal Georgia region.
