HOWARD COUNTY, MD Homes continue to sell quickly in Howard County, with the number of new listings increasing gradually in June, according to the latest data from the Howard County Association of Realtors.
Residential homes spent an average of nine days on the market one day lower than the previous month and 14 days lower than the same time last year which is a 60.9 percent decrease.
New residential listings were up 12.6 percent (626 vs 556) compared to the same time last year, while active listings remained unchanged from the previous month (285) and were down 43.9 percent from the same time last year. New closed sales were up 45 percent, and the average sale price was $554,833, which is up 11.8 percent compared to the same time last year.
