SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): A Singaporean has been appointed as the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) chief information officer (CIO) and information technology department director.
<p><span>Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), announced today her intention to appoint Ms. Shirin Hamid as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of the Information Technology Department (ITD). Ms. Hamid’s selection was the outcome of an internationally competitive process.</span></p>
