Five roads in our region saw average house prices over this period surpass £1m - placing them well beyond the budget of your average house hunter.
But it was Shireburn Road, in Formby, which was named the region s most expensive road.
Houses sold for an average of £1.77m on the lavish street, while nearby Regents Field was the second most expensive spot with average house sales prices of £1.32m
