Lockdown or no lockdown, there is never a dull moment for the creatively-inclined. With all music concerts, art shows and design exhibitions cancelled or postponed for the better part of 2020 in view of the pandemic and the social distancing norms it demands audiences follow, a few artistes decided to take a new route to fulfil their creative urges.
Artist-turned-author Bruce Garrabrandt says that creativity doesn’t wait for that perfect moment and fashions its own perfect moment out of ordinary ones. Something similar happened during a conversation between Grammy-nominated sitarist and musician Gaurav Mazumdar and Shruti Chatur Lal Sharma, artistic director of the Pandit Chatur Lal Festival and curator at Euphonic Yoga.
