DETROIT — Perry residents are taking stock of the damage Saturday after a tornado with nearly 100 mph winds tore through their community Friday evening with little warning.
The National Weather Service said the EF-1 tornado had an estimated peak wind of 95 mph and left a path about 3 miles long and a maximum of 430 yards wide.
