Genzi Town, also known as "the first town of litchi in China," has been attracting visitors every midsummer with its fragrant lychee. The town has become a source of income for the locals, especially farmers, with its lychee plantations and longan and lychee professional cooperatives. Baiqiao Village, located in Genzi Town, has been a key rural tourism and forest village. The village has a history of lychee planting for over 2,000 years, and its existing planting area is about 6,800 mu (about 4.53 square kilometers). Today, the villagers have developed fresh fruit processing, e-commerce, cultural tourism, and other businesses, which have rapidly promoted their income and made them prosperous.
