AN ONLINE donations page has now been launched by the group looking to save the oldest working church in Shetland. The Lunna Kirk Preservation Group’s crowdfunding page can be found here. The historic building is in line to be sold by the Church of Scotland as the kirk.
REMEMBRANCE Sunday events are taking place in Shetland today. A ceremony was held at the war memorial in Lerwick earlier, which included a gun fire salute. Thanks to Malcolm Younger of Millgaet Media for the photos. A wreath laying ceremony will also take place at the Shetland.
