Care package: Make-A-Wish, UPS help deliveryman dream come true for Stockton boy with leukemia Angelaydet Rocha, The Record
For a six-year-old Stockton boy, dreams do come true.
“We are doing something very special for him, so I think that he 100% deserves it and this is something unique for him,” said Josh Needles, president of UPS’ Northern California district.
It was all through the Make-A-Wish foundation wish-fulfillment program, which works to make dreams come true for children diagnosed with a critical illness.
“What’s amazing to see today is just such a vibrant child with so much resilience and just so excited just to be a part of something that is, you know, what a typical 6-year-old should be doing, dreaming about being a deliveryman,” said Jennifer Stolo, president and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Northeast & Central California & Northern Nevada chapter.

The Stockton Record
STOCKTON The old Red Robin building outside Sherwood Mall is no more as crews clear the rubble to make way for an In-N-Out Burger.
This will be the second Stockton spot for the iconic California-based burger chain, whose March Lane location opened more than a decade ago.
Workers have been demolishing the building on Pacific and Yokuts avenues after the former Red Robin closed down in June 2019.
Over the years, the site, directly across the street from San Joaquin Delta College, has also been home to the Elephant Bar following the 2005 closure of Lyon s Restaurant, which operated at the location for 40 years.
