The case against a 59-year-old man charged in a fatal road-rage shooting in Blount County will proceed to a grand jury, a judge has ruled.
Michael Wayne Harris, of Steele, appeared before Blount County District Judge Sherry C. Burns on Wednesday morning. Assistant District Attorney Scott Gilliland confirmed the judge deemed there was enough evidence against Harris to move the case forward. Harris was arrested on Dec. 17.
