Election denialism is in full view in Louisville and marks a worrying turn from principles of democracy and civil discourse that should define our community. The actions of failed mayoral candidates Sherry Sommer and Josh Cooperman are deeply concerning and warrant public scrutiny.
Chris Leh is projected to be the next Louisville mayor with 59.27% of votes as of 7:38 p.m. Tuesday, while Deborah Fahey is leading in the race for Ward 2 City Council. Leh has been a Louisville council member for the past nine years and said he will prioritize “economic vitality” by attracting more business to the area and growing current establishments. Leh has also served on the Louisville Revitalization Commission, Louisville Planning Commission, Blue Sky Bridge, Imagine! Foundation and Legal Aid Foundation.
