Supervisor Todd King said he made the proposal as a way to show gratitude toward county employees, especially given the difficult past two years they’ve had to endure.
Supervisors, on a 7-0 vote this past week, adopted a $220.7 million budget for the next fiscal year, an amount that is just over 4% higher than the current budget.
