Fri, 07, 21 We need to have a positive perspective on things at all costs; even if we fail, we should keep trying. Feedback Dear Ed, I simply loved that bit of news about Wally Funk! I mean, slowly but surely we are breaking norms and embrace new stuff. The fact that Wally chose a profession unique to her gender, the fact that she never gave up despite the odds against her, and the fact that important organisations are beginning to understand the importance of inclusivity. I think this was much needed to inspire us, especially during these tough times both for students unsure of what path to take and adults still debating that career switch to go for something they truly love.

Fri, 07, 21 We really need to hear from our youth. There is a lot we can learn from our youth.. Feedback Dear Editor, I am a regular reader of Us magazine and I love to read all the articles but my favourite page is Bits N Pieces . It is not only entertaining but also very informative to read. However, it is limited to one page only. I suggest you to extend the content of Bits N Pieces to two to three pages. Thank you. Wahib Ali Zaman, Karachi. Hey Ed, Us is one of my favourite publications. Ed, I would really like to see young people writing on current topics. What I have noticed is there are hardly any articles where I could read about youth’s point of view on the things that are happening around us. For example, what young people think about the freedom of Palestinian people; or if the young people think sex education is important; or how social media is being affected by the influencer culture.

Feedback Dear Ed, ‘The lost art of reading’ by Zeeshan Ahsan (May 7) was a great read. Reading is not lost in the west where book reading culture is still very much alive. People read books when travelling by planes, buses and trains, gift books to children instead of toys and encourage them to read. In our country, tuition culture has severely curtailed the time for reading! If students go for tuition after school and return in the evening, how can they read. Studies have been made such a burden for students that they don’t have time for reading and physical activities. I think that this problem needs to be addressed by concerned authorities.

FeedbackDear Editor,I want to read fiction in Us magazine. There are always so many informative articles. At times, it gets very boring. I remember Us would always run a fictional story every Friday. They used to be very simple and short, but they.

FeedbackHi Ed,So the ‘Turn’ is now ended! Please convey my appreciation to Sanniyah Eman for penning such a compelling story. The plot was a bit complex and the writer also brought a couple of things out that we usually shove under the carpet:.
