Outraged. The word that i would use to sum up the video would be an assassination. I think they murdered the man in cold blood regardless of what he was doing out here on not. Now, police also are saying that theres two sides to every story. They are interpreting the video very differently. They say that the officers were justified in using whatever force was necessary to stop that man from possibly going on to the busy street or into the nearby bakery with those shears. Heres what he had to say. Not going to tell anybody you just dont understand what you see. They see it. They reac to it. That could upset them. The recent training that we have had and i think thats successful, when we encounter angry people, we are allowing them to speak. We are allowing them their voice. We are treating them respectfully. Lindsey reiser of our phoenix station kpho reports on preparations for evacuation. Reporter the Community Meeting tonight was packed with about 300 people in attendance. It was very tense at times as they fear the worst with these evacuations. Theres a lot of uncertainty. People dont know. You know, theres one road in, one road out. And youve got over 3,000 people. I do a bird show at the arboretum at flagstaff. And from what i have heard, the fire is just five miles or sore away from there. Reporter most of the people in attendance are from cucina village where they have been told to evacuate but havent been given the official notice yet. I have 30 big animals they need to get out in time, and i just want to make sure that that code red will give me enough time to evacuate all my animals. Today, government forecasters told us a change in the long term weather pattern is coming that could bring more moisture to the area, and fewer fires, along with a slowerthanusual hurricane season. They predict eight to 13 tropical storms during the season, which begins june 1, with three to six of them becoming hurricanes. We have two reports on the extreme weather.
