morning. nbc bay area kimberly terry is at the construction site with more on the project. reporter: terry, take a look. this is what traffic looks like. construction between lundy and flicken jer avenues will start tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. drivers will notice a temporary lane shift to the south and a reduction in traffic lanes from three to two lanes in both directions. there will be some delays during the peak commute hours. we ll be having about two-thirds of the capacity. so commuters traveling to work or commuters taking their kids to school should allow a little bit of extra travel time just to make sure that they can traverse this area safely. reporter: this is the first major road work being done in san jose for the south bay b.a.r.t. extension. crews will be digging a trench for future b.a.r.t. trains below the road. a lot of work has been done to the eutilities to prepare the area for construction. road work is expected to tie up drivers for up to nine mo
