A MAN who shouted sexual comments and women and hurled abused at police officers blamed his drunken outbursts on his wife leaving him. Alexander Muldoon was spotted on Belmont Street in Kelvinbridge approaching close to a lone woman and shouting I have a massive c . On May 20 last year, shortly before 7pm, a witness saw the 40-year-old yell the abuse before wandering off in the direction of Great Western Road. Prosecutor Tanjeel Maleque told Glasgow Sheriff Court that the witness approached one of the women to check she was ok. When the victim said she was upset and alarmed by the incident, he called police.
A SHOPKEEPER has been banned from driving after being caught without a licence at the wheel of a motor. Aaftab Mohammed had previously been banned from driving when he was spotted on Aikenhead Road in a Skoda Octavia by cops who recognised him. Mohammed drove off but police went looking for him and found the vehicle parked near his home with him inside. The court heard Mohammed has previous driving related convictions. His ban had expired and he was entitled to reapply for a driving licence but his test was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The court was also told that since Mohammed married in 2019 there have been three domestic cases before the courts.
