(RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN) The long running Booze It & Lose It campaign continues throughout Tennessee and Rutherford County Sheriff’s deputies are working overtime to add extra emphasis on drunk driving enforcement. Increased patrol started around Labor Day and will continue up until September 23rd, with a special focus on those who make the decision to drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

(MURFREESBORO, TENN.) The MTSU Police Department is asking for the public's assistance with identifying a person of interest in a burglary at the Stephen B. Smith Clubhouse at the MTSU Baseball Field. Rutherford County teens will have enhanced driver’s training by school resource officers after a donation by the Business Education Partnership Foundation and State Farm Insurance.
The foundation and State Farm contributed $1,190.65 to the SROs free Defense Response Improving Vehicle Education course to purchase DVDs, drowsy and distracted goggles, “Drunk Busters Impaired Goggles,” a steering wheel to use when wearing the goggles and signage.

Rutherford County, TN Rutherford County Fire Rescue's (RCFR) Fire Marshal's Office and the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) arrested Kenneth Gibbs, 42, of Rutherford County on Monday, September 5 and charged him with attempted aggravated arson, attempted vandalism, and additional charges by RCSO.
