On Feb. 7, 2021, Jean Alda Brown (Miller) was called home by her Heavenly Father and Jesus her Savior.
Jean was born Oct. 31, 1932, in San Diego, California, to parents, Owen Waldo Miller and Alda Gertrude McCready. She lived in San Diego until 1950 when she went to Pasadena College where she majored in music.
It was there that she met and fell in love with Lee Brown and they were married Dec. 12, 1953.
In 1961, Lee accepted a position as chemistry teacher at Armijo High School and they have lived in Fairfield ever since.
Jean was an accomplished pianist and taught piano lessons to her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends’ children. She played the piano for the Fairfield Nazarene Church for over 30 years and taught children’s Sunday School classes, was a church scouting leader and summer camp counselor. She also hosted Bible studies taught by her husband in their home for over 30 years and for several of those years le
