hour and this is causing quite a headache. this happened around 2:00 p.m. this afternoon. we have been told the man has not been identified by police. also, the recycling truck is not from the city. we have been told by councilman that it is a private contractor out of maryland. we spoke to their headquarters in texas and they re waiting for information. we spoke to david baker who was in his car in the alley at the time of the accident. the trash truck moved in reverse. a couple of cars were following him out of the alleyway. halfway through the alley, he just stopped. the lead car, the driver got out and he was pointing on the ground. that is when we knew there was a man who had been struck. we look at all of the devices on the vehicle to make sure it is operable as well as any witnesses may have been in the area. i witnesses thursday with police who saw the accident happened. we do not know if the man is an employee, a resident in this neighborhood, or just happened
