WOODSTOCK – With the Shenandoah County 2045 Comprehensive Plan nearing completion, the focus is now on increasing public engagement before the planned Aug. 1 public hearing.
Shenandoah County is working to form a partnership with the U.S. Forest Service to attempt to mitigate the Spongy Moth population in the Northern Shenandoah Valley. These insects also known as Gypsy Moths can cause big problems in the local ecosystem.
