Dimapur, Aug. 15 (EMN): Training for child rights club leaders was conducted by Child Friendly Dimapur (CFD), AIDA, on August 13 at AIDA conference hall. According to an update, the main objective of organising the programme was to enhance the leadership skills of the child rights club leaders through capacity building and educating them on the four cardinal rights of the children as enshrined in the United Nation Convention for the Rights of a Child (UNCRC). During the session, the club leaders were trained on leadership, characteristics of a good leader, steps to become a good leader and roles and responsibility of the child rights club leaders. Throughout the training session, the children were motivated and trained to become an influential leader by being a doer, it stated.
