Fit Cookie health and fitness shop opens in Oxford city centre

A NEW health food shop in Oxford has been doing a roaring trade in people’s eagerness to get healthier after lockdown. Fit Cookie opened in the Golden Cross arcade off Cornmarket Street in October, a few weeks before the country went into the second national lockdown. Artur Niewiadomski runs the shop with his fiancé Malgorzata Wysocka. The pair moved to Oxford from Poland six years ago. Fit Cookie was allowed to stay open over lockdown because it supplies essentials such as vitamin and mineral supplements, as well as a range of vegan food and other healthy options. The Oxford Mail spoke to the couple as part of our festive campaign urging people to shop local for Oxmas and support local independent businesses which need help now more than ever.
