Kelsey Emery, a Weld RE-4 School District learning coach and librarian, became the only school librarian in the district to have earned all five credentials and only one of 21 librarians in the state to have received the designation.
"This is the fun part," he said of the upcoming construction. "All the efforts ahead of time culminate to this, and a year from now we'll see a new school pop out and opening."
The district, serving students in Windsor, Severance and west Greeley, has scheduled 90-minute ceremonies for 5 p.m. May 2 and 4 for the Peakview and RainDance buildings, respectively, according to a news release.
