Congratulations are in order for the winning teams of the Digicel Foundation’s Girls Power Tech 2021. Of the ten competing teams, three emerged victorious at the end of the Hackathon on day two.
The hackathon, which is a main feature of the GPT event, challenges young women to brainstorm and develop technology-based solutions for social challenges.
The topics this year focussed on renewable energy and energy solutions, education, reviving small businesses and gender-based violence.
