When rescue crews finally found her, they placed her on a back board. Fire fighters above ground used a tripod to pull her out through a nearby man hole. A rescue effort some city leaders say could have been avoided. Other people had to put themselves in harms way in order to be able to rescue someone from that space. Its all part of an 8 Million Construction project here along west 130th street from perk construction. They just started work and a local Business Manager says hes already watched several drivers damage their cars. This being one of them. I poke is the driver. He tells me this barrel and caution tape were not in place when he drove into the hole. So i called a couple of people within the public works department.
