I work hard to get better all the time. But i have come to realize that there are limits. There are some things i cant explain or at least that i cant analyze in any meaningful sense because there is something that is appealing about these things or that seems important about these things but i just cant grasp it. I know it means something to other people. I can see it in their faces. I cant get it. I cant empathize. There are a few of them that come up in a recurring way in politics, things that obviously really resonate with other people i figured out i just dont get. One of them is term limits. People love the idea of term limits, a guaranteed applause line. No matter who suggests term limits in any speech. I think term limits are a terrible idea for legislatures because legislatures are about to write laws. That is a complicated high degree difficulty work.
