Monroe County man, seriously hurt and trapped in pickup after crash, dials 911 for help

Harlow Osteboe called 911 and notified the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office about the crash and that he was trapped inside his pickup, which was lodged against a tree. (Monroe County Sheriff s Office).
SHELDON TOWNSHIP, Wis. (WKBT) A Wilton, Wis., man suffered serious injuries about 10 a.m. Thursday when his vehicle rolled over after hitting a patch of ice on Mead Avenue in Sheldon Township and struck a tree.
Despite his injuries, Harlow Osteboe was able to call 911 and notify the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office about the crash and that he was trapped inside his 1997 Ford pickup, according to the sheriff’s office.
