Shelby Township to host Independence Day fireworks

SHELBY TOWNSHIP After a one-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shelby Township Downtown Development Authority Independence Day Fireworks are back July 1 at Ford Field Central Park at 7460 23 Mile Road.
The fireworks can be viewed throughout the township’s Van Dyke Avenue commercial corridor with the epicenter at 23 Mile Road and Van Dyke.
Township Supervisor Rick Stathakis said the fireworks show isn’t one that people would want to miss.
