Free state sponsored COVID-19, Influenza A/B and RSV testing is being offered through the Spring of 2024 at the Webster County Health Department, located at 233 E. Washington Street in Marshfield.
The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) issued 48 marijuana microbusiness licenses this week to the top applicants drawn in the Aug. 28 lottery. To ensure the integrity of the random drawing, the Missouri Lottery conducted the drawing without reference to the identities of the applicants.
Missouri Farm Bureau’s Foundation for Agriculture hosted an Ozarks Tractor Cruise on Saturday with a scenic route through Webster, Dallas and Laclede Counties. The cruise drew dozens of participants with one driver coming from Imperial, Mo in an effort to raise funds for the foundation in a fun and family friendly way.
Webster County’s newest charitable club hosted its first fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 23 at Spring Valley Venue in Strafford. Guns n Hoses offered guests food, networking and live music as auctions raise funds for a worthy non-profit. The Webster County 100 Club is a 501(c)(3) organization and a registered Non-Profit Corporation in the State of Missouri which was created to financially support the surviving spouse and/or dependent children of the brave men and women from both county and local law enforcement agencies and fire departments who have died from injuries suffered in the line of duty within Webster County.
The fourth networking event from the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce is set for 7:45-9:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19 at the Marshfield Senior Center, located at 427 W Washington Street, Marshfield. Lisa’s Homemade Eats and Treats will be catering the breakfast pastries and beverages.
