SIGHT for Wight is celebrating its own local hero as member Sheila Angell stretched her own limits and, at the age of 88, touched her toes 100 times every day in May. In doing so, she raised more than £1,077 which will go towards the charity’s new skills and support system for visually impaired people on the Isle of Wight. Sight for Wight is a local charity which provides information and support to visually impaired people, their families, friends and carers. Sheila said: “It was hard at first, but now I can’t stop. I am carrying on every day and everyone has noticed a real change in me.”
