Heart attack not stopping half-marathon man Paul

× JUST two years on from suffering a heart attack despite being fit and healthy, a Worsbrough Dale man is marking his miraculous recovery with a half-marathon. Paul Hallas, 34, was training in the gym and playing rugby multiple times a week in 2019 - but a ‘shock’ heart attack left him in tears at the hospital wondering if he’d ever play the sport he loved again. Paul told the Chronicle: “It was such a shock - I was playing rugby at the time and I had a few niggles in my chest on the pitch.
