CANTON – A Chicago-area company that has been growing over the past seven years has acquired Standard Plumbing and Heating, along with its sister company, Sheet Metal Crafters.
Reedy Industries, based in Glenview, Ill., has purchased 21 businesses since 2014, including four other companies so far in 2021.
Terms of the deal between Reedy and Standard Plumbing were not released. Both are privately held companies.
The leadership team at Standard and Sheet Metal Crafters will remain the same and the companies will continue to operate in Canton and Mansfield, according to the press release announcing the deal.
Dave Grabowsky, whose grandfather started Standard Plumbing in 1912, will continue as president of Standard and Sheet Metal Crafters.
