The building at 152 Bridge St, known for many years as the Royal Hotel, has been sold to an unknown buyer.
The mantle of owning a 170-year-old piece of Nelson s history, the former Royal Hotel building, has been picked up by a new buyer. The building has been a fixture of the Nelson hospitality scene in various guises since 1851, at the intersection of Bridge St and Collingwood St – known as Four Spirits Corner. The For Sale signs have been up in recent weeks with offers sought over $699,000.
