Although an official title is yet to be announced (we like the sound of
Something s Up with Sally), the novel sees a happily married Jack and Sally s lives turn upside down after Sally accidentally unleashes a mysterious villain upon Halloween Town.
With Jack and the entire holiday world endangered, Sally must go on a quest to the other holiday worlds – including one that s been previously unexplored – where she uncovers secrets about how to save the world, and wrestles with new discoveries about her past life. This new book, written from the point of view of Sally, takes place shortly after the movie ends. It s the yet-to-be-told love story of Sally and Jack. But it s also a coming-of-age story for Sally, as we see her navigate her new royal title as the Pumpkin Queen of Halloween Town, Ernshaw explained.

Wednesday, the project is set to be coming from a partnership with Netflix who have ordered eight episodes of the series. While details still remain sparse, a general synopsis of the story will follow many people’s favourite Addam’s family character, Wednesday Addams, as she navigates teenage life along with some psychic abilities thrown into the mix. Promising monsters, mayhem and no doubt carnage, the already wonderful character is surely going to find a welcome home in the Burtonesque style.

The Wicked Deep s Shea Ernshaw. Disney Publishing has hired the author to continue the world of
The Nightmare Before Christmas, but this time from Sally s point of view. Set after the 1993 movie, the sequel will pick up with Sally and Jack Skellington, who are now married. Of course, not everything can remain rosy for the eerie pair, and Sally is sent hurtling on a new adventure when she accidentally sets a Halloween Town villain free.
