Columbia bounces back from the explosive 4th of July festivities by hosting its first PRIDE event, as well as the chance to revisit a popular TV icon, movies and more.
1. Maury PRIDE Block Party at the CAB
Although PRIDE Month has ended, Columbia plans to celebrate in its own way this weekend by throwing its first PRIDE Block Party in the city s arts district.
Saturday s event is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at the Columbia Arts Building, located at 307 W. 11th St., and will feature activities for all ages, including live music by April Lowe, food trucks and several local vendors, including the Little Juice Co., What a Load of Scrap, Kaleidoscope Columbia and others.
