WINCHESTER, Ind. A warrant was issued for a Portland man s arrest this week after he failed to show up for a sentencing hearing in a Randolph County burglary case.
Nicholas W. Tressler, 32, had been scheduled to enter a guilty plea and be sentenced at a Tuesday hearing.
Judge Jay Toney issued the arrest warrant, and ruled Tressler would be held without bond after being apprehended.
The Portland man is charged with burglary and attempted theft. A plea agreement had been reached in his case on Feb. 19.
Tressler was one of four people arrested last Oct. 23 at the scene of a break-in northeast of Winchester.
