WASHINGTON, DC â On Wednesday, United States Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack addressed the Senate Judiciary Committee about a proposed bill, the Farm Workforce Modernization Act that could provide a pathway to citizenship for undocumented farmworkers. The bill passed the House in March.
