Liverpool Township An officer responded at 2:29 p.m. Sunday to the 2500 block of Lisbon Street to a suspicious person complaint. He had negative contact. A 14-year-old Lisbon Street boy was arrested at 10:12 p.m. Monday on a charge of domestic violence, after allegedly assaulting his mother and a 10-year-old sibling. A victim in the 1500 block of Shadyside Avenue reported at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday that someone had stole his catalytic converter of his vehicle around three weeks ago.
Wellsville An investigation continues into a theft reported shortly before 7:52 p.m. Thursday at Rite Aid. Police responded to a crash at 6:22 pm. Monday near the state Route 7 south exit ramp involving Ronald Siegman, whose vehicle sustained damage when he hit the gas instead of the brake and exited a highway and hit a ditch.

EAST LIVERPOOL In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Charles D. Brereton III, South Surry Road, pleaded no contest to failure to file income tax and was fined $500 ($450 of the fine will be held in abeyance as long as he complies with the terms of his non-reporting unsupervised probation). He filed returns for tax years 2014 through 2016 and is ordered to make payments as agreed for 2009 through 2011 and 2014 and 2016. An additional charge of return and payment of income tax was dismissed with prejudice, after the defendant stipulated to probable cause and will pay associated costs.
An additional failure to file city income tax charge was dismissed with prejudice against Julie Brereton, South Surry Road.
